These are a couple images from my trip to Maine this year. A week full of fish, beer, family, water and no society bullshit. I wish it could happen more often. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy people and cities but there is something about not hearing a car buzzing through the street in the late hours and just listening to a bird making it’s call across the lake.
Created by stop motion photographs of a wolf and pig outside, then stop motion shots of those images inside his bedroom. Its a fun play on perspectives and the elements of the room. Shot by dokugyunyu.
Well, it’s true. I do suck at blogging, haha. I am not the most active blogger and I don’t care.
For the most part, this blog is going to be used for updates, some inspiration, and maybe some actual thoughts. So in that vein, above are some recent photos that I have taken in the last month or so. The first two are from my night owl personality. If I could, I would probably just stay up all night but that doesn’t work out to well with the day job. The second pair of photos are from a trip down to the Redwoods National Forest in Northern California. What a beautiful place, even though it was raining both days that we were there. I think I am going to try to get back there this summer to go back packing in the Redwoods. It truly is a vast place and you could probably spend days getting lost in the forest. I just want a few more days with the massive trees.
Besides doing a little bit of traveling in the Northwest and snowboarding, I am trying to wrap up the new site and work on some tunes. So in the next couple of weeks, look forward to some new goodies.
Take care for now.
I just got some images developed recently (should of gotten these done a long time ago) of my last Maine trip and it just reminded me of how much I can’t wait to get back there in the upcoming months. I would say, this is one of those places that I will always be able to relax and free my mind. I just hope everyone has a place like that, where you can focus and think about what is most important to you. If not, keep searching.
