One way to get the day started off, just listen to a little Rahsaan Roland Kirk. This man is a true talent within music realm. Blind at a young age and having a dream to be the leading light. He was a multi-instrumentalist focusing on saxophones, flutes, clarinets and much more.

Enjoy your Tuesday, stay positive!

Great track from Hildur Guðnadóttir, one that is emotional, dark, beautiful, and super moving. Hildur is a composer from Reykjavík, Iceland, just another to add to the Iceland music list. She has created music with Mum and Pan Sonic. Hildur is currently on the Touch Music Label.

A nicely shot video, Unchopping a Tree, part of Maya Lin’s last memorial entitled What is Missing?, debuted at COP15 during the Support REDD+ events sponsored by the Coalition for Rainforest Nations rainforestcoalition.org/eng/.

One in 8 Million

Things like this are just wonderful reminders that so many different people live on this planet. Over on New York Times website, they have this collection of interviews from people living in New York City. These simple interviews with supporting images are a true example of just the variety of people living in just one city. I know, it’s New York, but it just goes to show the differences that all of these people bring to one place. This is just the reason to get out there meet more people, to learn, listen, and to explore their minds. Then hopefully, I can see the world in a different manner, one that is for the better.
